Everton add on loan ‘El Ghazi’ from Villa

Everton have reached an agreement to sign Aston Villa. Winger Anwar El Ghazi on loan until the end of the season.

El Ghazi becomes the third new player at Everton. Drawn to strengthen the army this winter, following Vitaly with Kolenco, left-back Ukraine and Nathan Patterson, right-back, Scotland.

Former Ajax star Will move into the number 34 shirt and will be ready to help the team immediately against Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Everton have confirmed the signing of Anwar El Ghazi from Aston Villa on a loan deal until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The winger becomes the club’s third arrival of the January transfer window, following the captures of Vitalii Mykolenko and Nathan Patterson on permanent deals.

Villa had wanted to sell El Ghazi for £15m but Everton were only interested in a loan. Having been searching for more options out wide in the last few weeks.

Has had the opportunity to play as a substitute for most of the Steven Gerr era. So with the addition of Philippe Coutinho to the club. Al Ghazi’s chances have been reduced even further

, with the 26-year-old scoring just one goal in nine league games. this season

As for Villa, they signed El Ghazi from Lille in 2018. Initially on loan before being drawn on a permanent deal the following year.  The latter is an important force that helps the team get promoted to the Premier League.

El Ghazi’s move was a crossover with Lucas Digne, who recently moved from Everton to Villa for £25m on the same day.
