Liverpool are in no rush to make a decision on the future of teenage midfielder Bobby Clark, who has been linked with a move to Salzburg football.

Clarke missed the US tour with his Liverpool team-mates due to a back injury. But has now returned to training with the Under-21s at Kirkby’s training ground UFABET

Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg are keen to sign Clarke this summer. After bringing in former Jurgen Klopp academy product Pep Lijnders as their new manager.

Liverpool are set to demand at least £12m if they decide to sell the 19-year-old permanently. With a loan move likely to be the only option and the Reds are keeping their cool and will take their time before making a decision.

In addition to Salzburg, Championship clubs Norwich City, Sheffield United, Coventry and Leeds United are also interested in signing him on loan next season.

For Bobby Clark, he was signed by Liverpool from Newcastle in 2021 and last season. He made 12 senior appearances in all competitions. Scoring once in the Europa League against Sparta Prague and playing in the Carabao Cup final. Where the team won the title with a 1-0 extra-time victory over Chelsea.

Clarke is now looking like he belongs in the first-team squad and, if his injury is not too serious. He could be given more playing time for the rest of the season.
