Aymeric Laporte is struggling to terminate his football contract with Al-Nassr in order to move to Real Madrid. But it is unlikely.

Saudi Arabian newspaper ‘Al Yaum’ reported on Saturday that. Spain’s Euro 2024 winning centre-back Aymeric Laporte is looking to terminate his contract with Al-Nassr in order to sign for Real Madrid this summer. UFABET

Real Madrid have decided not to invest in the transfer market to sign another centre-back. As per Carlo Ancelotti’s request unless a deal is struck on a free transfer. With Laporte potentially being considered if the 30-year-old becomes a free agent. Following the termination of his contract with Al-Nassr.

However, Laporte’s attempt is unlikely to materialise as the Spain international is contracted until 2026. And Al-Nassr will only allow the 30-year-old centre-back to leave for the same €27m fee the Saudi club paid City to sign him last summer.

Al-Nassr are reportedly willing to let the player leave if they receive the same €27m fee they paid Man City last summer.

However, Real Madrid are keen to sign Laporte on a free transfer. With the player expected to terminate his contract. Which runs until 2026, but Al-Nassr will not allow that to happen. So it will be difficult for Los Blancos to sign the 30-year-old centre-back on a free transfer.
