Paul Pogba has admitted he still hopes to return to the France national team. But says he is only taking the first step after signing for Monaco.
The former Manchester United and Juventus star has been out of football. Since being banned for drugs after failing a drugs test.
However, Pogba has found a new club, having signed a two-year deal with Monaco to restart his career.

has made 91 appearances for France, with his last appearance for the national team coming in March 2022 and his last at club level coming in September 2023 with Juventus.
“Today I am still in the first step, coming back to do well. There are positions to compete for and you have to perform for a position because France are a great team.”
Eric Dier, who was unveiled at the same time as Pogba, said it was exciting to see the 32-year-old return to France.
“I think it’s very exciting for the club and for the French league,” Dier said.
“I played against him a lot and I know how good he is. And I think everyone knows that. I’m excited to see him play football again, and even better up close.”
