Vitor Roque insists he is happy at the start of his career with Betico.
Brazilian striker Vitor Roque has revealed he is happy at Real Betis after learning both the good and the bad during his six months at Barcelona, according to Canal Sur on Thursday.
The 19-year-old forward has endured a gruelling six months at Barcelona since joining from Atletico Paranaense in January, but he has now put that behind him and is settling in well at Betico, having joined on loan with an option to make it permanent in the summer.
‘I don’t read much about Barcelona, I focus on Betis, I’m happy here and I don’t think about what they say there, the information will always come out.’
‘I’m young but I had bad times in football, although I always see it as a learning experience. At Barcelona I learned a lot about good things and bad things, but now I’m very happy at Betis. It was difficult to get there after they paid me a lot of money and if you don’t have someone to help you, it’s even more difficult,’ said Vitor Roque.
Vitor Roque has now scored four goals for Real Betis in 12 appearances in all competitions and the 19-year-old feels he can still do even more after snubbing a move to Sporting Lisbon in favour of joining Betis in the summer.
